The main menu options are displayed at the top of the Workspace, for example:
The options available in these menus depend on where you are in the application. For example you will also see a Workflow menu when the Design activity workflow screen is active. Click on the menu option or press Alt and the first letter to view the drop-down menu. For example press Alt+F to open the File menu, see Keyboard commands for more information. Many menu options are also available from the Right-click menus. Here is a summary with links to further discussion:
File: includes file and system options. Like all the sub-menus this will include other options that depend on your current selection and may also be available from the right-click menu. Thus the File menu is used to create a new window in the Details pane, to login or logout of the system, and lets the super administrator Upgrade the system license, see File menu for further details.
Edit: allows editing options including Cut, Copy, Paste, and Short Cut commands which can be used throughout the system, see Edit menu.
View: can be used to see properties, and determine how information is presented in lists, whether in columns i.e. Details or Large Icons, see View menu.
Workflow: allows modification of workflow nodes when the Design activity workflow screen is active, see Activity menu.
Tools: offers access to the system Search and Java Console, see Tools menu.
Window: lets you see the windows currently open and allows you to set the on-screen window display.
Help : gives access to on-line help. Choose Contents to display all topics with contents, index, and glossary in a viewer. Specific help is also available from individual screens by using the Help icon or pressing F1. The application version can be viewed from the About option. See Getting help for more.
