The system is designed for ease of use and includes Tooltips, context-sensitive help topics, and a full on-line help system:
Full on-line help: Choose Contents from
the Help Menu on the system main menu to view
the full on-line help system. This includes a topics viewer with contents,
index, glossary, and search capabilities. Please be aware that the application
is highly configurable and the on-line help is for the full system as
used by a super administrator. This means you may see help topics for
options that are disabled on your system or unavailable for a user with
your privileges. You have the following options from the Help Viewer:
Contents: presents the entire help
documentation facility organized
by topic.
Index: displays
an alphabetical list of index entries. Select an entry to display the
page in the topic window.
Glossary: defines terms specific to the application.
Search: allows word or phrase searches to match help topics
to your entry.
Context sensitive help:
To see
a help topic relevant to your current selection you have several options:
press F1, choose Help Topic from the Help Menu on the system main
menu, press the Help icon on the toolbar, or else right-click a selected
element and choose Help Topic from the right-click
menu. Any of these actions brings up a single topic relevant to your
current selection, from the full help system. You can navigate to other
topics in the on-line help from links within the topic. However the contents,
index and search facilities are only available on the full on-line help
system, see above. Within individual topics you have access to other topic
pages:
Topic links: within a topic navigate to related topics.
Related topics: are listed at the end of each topic to take
you to relevant topics.
Navigation bar: includes forward and back arrows at the top
of the viewer to 'turn the page' forward or backward through the topics
in the same order as the Contents of the full help system.
Tooltips: Hold the cursor over a screen element to see a floating message describing its function.
Please note that system configuration depends on your License Key so you may not see all options described in the help topics. In addition your own User properties may limit access to some parts of the system.
