As part of our project to preserve the works of this extraordinary artist in clay, we hope to provide documents about the work of Dr Deirdre Airey. So far we can offer the following:

>> Tile narratives: These pages present the stories referred to by Dr Aireys tiles. Some are presented in her words, some are excerpts from the bible.

>> Deirdre Airey: artist in clay is a summary project application sent to Creative New Zealand. It includes letters of support from a range of prominent artists, including Barry Brickell and the late Dr Micheal King, a friend of Dr Airey's who was in the process of writing about her Coromandel community of artists and her work when he died.

>> Obituary by Dr Graham Power, a medical friend of Dr Airey's and photographer of her works since 1976.
