Narada lead-carbon REXC series batteries sold by Coromandel Batteries are warranted for 5 years to the original purchaser. This warranty is backed directly by the Narada factory in China who support us with any warranty claims. The key terms of the warranty are:
Unconditional 12 month warranty where the battery fails to perform to its specifications.
Conditional pro-rata 5 year warranty that the battery will meet 80% of its performance at 5 years if it has been operated to the following conditions:
- Batteries are operated at an average depth of discharge (DoD) of no more than 65% per day with one cycle per day.
- Batteries are kept at an average temperature range of 15°C to 25°C and shall never exceed 30°C
- The battery charge and float voltages have been set and kept to those recommended by Narada (i.e. float 2.25V per cell at 25°C and charge 2.30V per cell at 25°C – see detailed charge settings table below)
- Sufficient evidence is available to show the batteries have been installed and operated at the above conditions (e.g. charging data from inverter/charger, temperature readings)
